Skinny Cinnamon Protein Powder Recipe for shake, 29 grams protein

This is a very simple high-protein drink recipe, easy to prepare, and light on your stomach. This is very mild and light protein drink for those who want something different than the heavy coffee or chocolate tastes.  The almond milk adds an extra gram of protein, so calculate that in addition to your powder’s amount. This is my all-time favorite essential recipe for the bariatric puree stage.  I add this dill dip to tuna salad, salmon pate, gefile fish, and even mashed potato.  This is an easy way to supplement extra grams of protein to complete a meal. Potato Creme Broth, Full Liquid Recipe, 3.14 grams protein per 4 oz serving

After gastric bypass surgery, people are sometimes temporarily lactose intolerant. This recipe adds protein to the broth with soymilk. Ingredients:  1 cup soy milk [10g] 2 cups mashed potato puree  [16g] 3 cups chicken broth [6*3=18g] Directions:  Add all ingredients to blender or food processor and pulse until mixed into a runny smooth broth.  Freezes very well.
